Cody Gakpo stroked first to break the deadlock in the 42nd minutes before the end of first half which made the home side dominated to enable them take over the game. Dawin Nunez, the Uruguayan quickly doubled their lead just 2 minutes into the second half which took Ten Hag men in a total shock.
But that was not enough until Cody Gakpo came back to extend the lead further from a cross from Mo Salah to kick it pass the goalkeeper to make it 3 in the 50th minutes and the biggest question asked, was what was happening with the Manchester United team at Anfield the home of Liverpool.
These early goals brought up an immense pressure on the red devils leaving them to rough tackles to receive several yellow cards as their side decided to defend to attack on the break on a counter. Until the 66th minutes when Mo Salah booked his name on the score sheet for the 4th goal with a volley when the ball was intercepted in the Manchester United's goal area.
In the 75th minutes a cross courtesy Hernandez, into the 18 yard box gave Dorwin Nunez the Uruguayan with a free header to make it 5 on the scored board. Mo Salah made it 6 on a loose ball while unmarked in the box, with Firmino to closing it by a 7 up in the English Premier League on Sunday.
