Ghana Together With The World Mourns Christian Astu || Macqathylive Sports

 




Christian Astu has been in the news since the 6th February earthquake which launched itself in Turkey and Syria environs killing over 40, 000 thousand people. Earlier in his search it was revealed by a close source from his Turkish side team Hatarspur  that he has been seen and taking to the hospital with some injuries.



Later another suggested that he's mistaken for another person, which became a worring situation across the world. Yet hope where kept in his search that someway somehow, he may be recovered alive because some number of people where seen alive from the rubble.  Until Saturday morning a shocking news from his against in Turkey, announcing of Christian Astu's demise.



It took about 12 days, almost a week before his body was found in the rubble dead. Meanwhile the Ghana foreign affairs of turkey is organizing to return his remains back to Ghana for buriel.





This has made football clubs and fans of the beautiful football game has poured out thier condolences to friends and family of the late footballer since the news broke of his demise. Christian has stared 65 times for the senior national team from 2012 to 2019 in Turkey. He also played in the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brasil and the African Cup Of Nations in scoring the goal of the tornarment and emerging as the player of the competition.



At club level he played for FC Portol, Chelsea FC, AFC Bournemouth, Everton, Malaga, Al-Raed New Castle and Hatayspor where he died. 


Christian was born in 10th January, 1992 he died on 18 February 2023, living for just 31 years. Astu left behind a wife and three (3) children.
